DartsAloud ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the DartsAloud mobile application ("App")
Data you provide: Player names, game scores, training results, and any profile information you enter within the App.
Voice data: When you use voice scoring, audio is processed locally on your device by the operating system's built-in speech recognition service (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Recognition on Android). We do not record, transmit, or store your voice audio on our servers.
Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics such as which features are used, for the purpose of improving the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
To provide and improve the App's features (score tracking, statistics, training drills).
To display your game history, achievements, and leaderboard standings within the App.
To generate in-app coaching suggestions based on your recorded performance.
Your game data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by our platform partner. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.
Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion (see Section 7), your personal data is permanently erased from our servers within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked to you may be kept indefinitely for product improvement.
The App requests microphone access solely to enable the optional voice scoring feature. Voice recognition is powered by your device's operating system:
iOS: Apple's on-device Speech framework (subject to Apple's Privacy Policy).
Android: Google Speech Recognition (subject to Google's Privacy Policy).
You can deny or revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings. The App will continue to function fully without microphone access; only voice scoring will be unavailable.
DartsAloud is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The App may use third-party analytics services. These services may collect anonymous usage information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not share personally identifiable information with these services.
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your data and account at any time. To do so, open the App, go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your data is erased from our servers within 30 days.
Opt out of anonymous analytics collection.
If you are in the UK, EU, or EEA, these rights are guaranteed under the UK GDPR / GDPR. Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (when you create an account and use the App) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service. As your data is processed on cloud servers that may be located outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your data is protected during any international transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
